Violation of these standards may result in warnings, suspension of chat privileges, or permanent bans, depending on the severity and frequency of the violations.

SECTION 1

1. Respect for All Members

  • Treat all members with respect and courtesy.
  • Do not engage in harassment, bullying, or any form of intimidation.
  • Avoid using language that can be considered discriminatory or offensive.

2. Appropriate Content

  • Keep conversations appropriate for a diverse audience. Explicit, obscene, or violent content is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not share or promote illegal activities.
  • Respect the privacy of others; do not share personal information without consent.
  • Do not post content that infringes on the trademarks or copyrights of other parties.

3. Constructive Engagement

  • Encourage positive interactions and constructive conversations.
  • Do not spam or flood the chat with messages.
  • Refrain from disruptive behavior that interrupts or derails discussions.

4. Compliance with Laws

  • Abide by all local, state, federal, and international laws while using our chat rooms.
  • Do not engage in or promote activities that could involve ChatChecks.com in legal issues.

5. Account Security

  • Protect your account information and do not share your login credentials with others.
  • Report any suspected security breaches or misuse of accounts immediately.

Reporting Violations

If you witness or are subjected to behavior that violates our Standards of Conduct, please report it to our moderation team through the provided channels on our website or using our online forms for Complaints or DMCA Notifications. All reports will be handled with confidentiality and promptness.

Changes to the Standards of Conduct

ChatChecks.com reserves the right to modify these Standards of Conduct at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members through our website. Continued use of our chat rooms after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of those changes.

SECTION 2

Chat Platform Rules

  • 1. You must be at least 18 years of age per the site rules.
  • 2. Name calling, harassment, racism, bigotry, and general disrepect towards other chatters is not permitted.
  • 3. Do not publicly or privately post any personally identifying information or private conversations of other members.
  • 4. Do not share your own personally identifying information with other members unless you know that person is trustworthy. You are responsible for your own safety.
  • 5. Conversations involving politics and religion are allowed only in the Politics and Religion & Spirituality rooms, respectively.
  • 6. Arguing with chat moderators is not permitted. Major disagreements with with moderators should be reported to Serviceman
  • 7. Please block members who cause problems or with whom you have personal issues.
  • 8. Do not post Craigslist style ads in the lobbies. (eg. 24/looking for phone or cam fun. etc.) Use topic rooms for these kinds of chat requests.
  • 9. Do not spam or flood the room.
  • 10. Cybering in group/public chat is only allowed in the adult themed rooms.
